EasyMeasure - Measure with your Camera!

EasyMeasure - Measure with your Camera!

Posted on May 30, 2013 Today's app technology continues to impress us with great innovations that make our daily lives a little bit easier just by owning an idevice. EasyMeasure follows suit in that regard by allowing the user to measure the distance to an object directly through your camera lens. Right after launching EasyMeasure the developer has opted to present a great video tutorial on exactly how to use the app functions which we found extremely informative in setting up the app to get precise accuracy. The amount of uses EasyMeasure presents to certain occupations is virtually endless and a great tool to have handy even if you're just having fun with it. After you have watched the video tutorial and calibrated your device to it's appropriate setting, it's as simple as pointing at the object to find out the distance to how far away it is. Also having the ability to snap a photo and save it into your camera roll with the distance, makes it easy to go back and use as a reference. Built with several nice features such as: sharing to email, Facebook, and Twitter, a built in flash for measuring distances in darkened areas, an amazing 3D overlay grid for more precision, and an upgraded version that allows you to measure height and width are all great tools to have for the apps functions.

Overall I found EasyMeasure to be a very useful app if your in a particular occupation that would have a need for measuring distances. With it's great video tutorial and easy to use layout EasyMeasure can certainly be put to good use for work or even just out and about having fun. The only drawback that I found in using EasyMeasure was that after calibrating the app in its setting area and following the tutorial to a "T", the measurement was off by a little more than we had hoped for. However, I certainly think the developer did a great job of creating a useful tool that can easily be used to access needed information on the fly.
